I was in a conversation with someone who was telling me how difficult it is for companies to do pitch to raise funds. It’s all about public speaking and the fear of public speaking. It got me to think about Seinfeld.

In one of the episodes he was looking at the USA Today and they had the top ten fears that the Americans have. The number sixth fear was death. The number one fear was public speaking. So he does this joke, “The next time you go to a funeral, know that the person giving the eulogy would rather be in the coffin!”

The point I’m trying to make is that whatever is happening out there is an illusion. Whatever is happening in yourself, in your heart and your gut is what reality is for us. If we have this fear of public speaking, or asking for money or allowing ourselves to do amazing things we look to the outside to change things. Instead, what we really need to take a look at is what’s going on inside ourselves, at the beliefs that hold us back. What are the inner conflicts that hold us back? If we can get the technology to change those and make them go away in a snap, we can achieve exceptional results.
